A few months ago, ESKOM contacted Elkanah House to as whether the school would like to enter into their Annual National ETA Awards for energy efficiency. We accepted and entered into the category: "Energy Champion - Community". During the gala event of the ESKOM Awards, Elkanah House was awarded second overall in this category for all our efforts to conserve energy, sustain the environment and impact the community. Thanks to all the parents, staff and pupils who work hard at contributing to our schools efforts to sustain our environment and support our community.
